Crater in the taste of the antique.
The body in bas-relief on the body of a scene of a Bacchanalian procession, composed of a chanter or oulos, an ecstatic maenad, a cymbal player and a faun carrying a vase on his shoulder.
Inspired by the famous Sosibios vase from Athens, the ivy branches on the neck and the gadroon pattern on the lower part of the body are reminiscent of Greek metal examples known from the late 5th century BC. The handles are finished with swan-neck attachments. Cast iron.
